FAMILY WORSHIP

Question 50

What does Christ’s resurrection mean for us?

Christ triumphed over sin and death so that all who trust in him are raised to new life in this world and to everlasting life in the world to come.
1 Thessalonians 4:13–14
But we do not want you to be uninformed, brothers, about those who are asleep, that you may not grieve as others do who have no hope. For since we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so, through Jesus, God will bring with him those who have fallen asleep.

Knollwood Next Steps

  • STEP 1 MEET - Are you new to Knollwood? We would love to feed you and get to know you. There's no obligation! Stay tuned for our next newcomers' lunch. Other ways to meet with us include gathering on Sunday and staying for our after-service fellowship.
  • STEP 2 LEARN - We desire that every person who is thinking of making Knollwood their church home take a Membership Class. Learn more about what we believe, what the Bible says about church membership and the process of becoming a member at Knollwood. Our next class is January 13 & 27, register here.
  • STEP 3 PARTNER - At Knollwood, we encourage everyone to partner through church membership as a commitment we feel every Christian should make to attend, love, serve, and submit to a local church.
  • STEP 4 CONNECT AND SERVE
    • Small Groups are centred around the weekly
sermon passage and help answer, “How does this apply to me this week? How can I live for Christ this week?” Small groups are great places to be known, loved, and cared for as you strive towards maturity in Christ with other Christ-followers.
    • Men’s/Women’s Groups are for those who want to dive deep into theology. They require more intentional effort by each member as groups work through a book in the Bible or tackle a theologically-driven book.
    • Serving We also ask that you find a place to use the gifts and talents God has given you to serve your church family. We have a number of areas such as Children’s Ministry, Music, Host Teams, and Nursery. If you can't find an area to serve that works for you, please talk to us.

CHILDREN'S MINISTRY

Nursery is available downstairs for infants and toddlers starting at 9:45 a.m. Kids from JK to Grade 5 will be dismissed before the sermon. When you arrive, please check in children of all ages at the Welcome Desk.
